NEW YORK -- Brandon Nimmo, one of the most beloved figures in New York Mets history, has been traded to the Texas Rangers in exchange for veteran second baseman Marcus Semien. The deal was made official on Nov. 24, 2025, after Nimmo waived his no-trade clause to pursue a championship opportunity.
